The team at Lotus Counseling Collective is passionate about sharing our specialized knowledge with our Ohio colleagues. Our continuing education programs offer CEs for counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists in Ohio. Please check back regularly as we work on offering new courses of varying interests including bringing lunch and learn opportunities to you about a variety of topics.

Consultation
Professional growth is the commitment we make as providers to our clients. Our providers offer ongoing consultation to clinicians for complex cases as well as specific treatment modalities and areas of specialities, including EMDR consultation. If one of our providers specializes in an area you’d like to gain more knowledge about, contact them to discuss setting up a consultation time.
We believe all providers’ time is valuable and encourage all members of Lotus Counseling Collective to be fairly compensated for offering their consultation services.

Training Supervision for Ohio Social Workers
Several of our therapists are able to provide group and individual training supervision services for Ohio LSWs seeking independent licensure. Supervision can take place in person or via an online platform. We might be a good fit for you if you’re interested in EMDR, trauma responsive care, the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, perinatal mental health; you are hoping to work in a private practice setting (specifically if you are looking to leave a community mental health agency); or you want to build a self-care routine that fosters resilience.

So you’re thinking about private practice but don’t know where to start? Not only did we launch our own private practices, but we have helped numerous others launch their thriving practices as well. Our goal is to help you avoid some of the same mistakes we made and provide easy to follow plans and collaborative guidance so that you can focus more of your energy on growing your business, and less of it staring at Google search results.
